KENYA FLOODS: HELP FOR THE HURTING AND HOPE FOR THE LOST
Update from Grace, DMM Partner – 5/20/24
Update from Grace, DMM Partner – 5/20/24
The devastating floods in Northern Kenya have left hundreds dead and thousands without homes. Following a severe four-year drought, these communities face a long and challenging recovery.
But together with friends like you, we can provide essential aid today and foster long-term healing through Disciple Making Movements (DMMs).
Your generous support below will directly support those in desperate need, providing both immediate help and hope for the lost:
- $25 provides a family of 4-5 with a month’s supply of essential food items such as maize flour or beans.
- $50 purchases critical building materials to start rebuilding homes immediately.
- $100 helps provide clean water to prevent disease outbreaks.
- $250 helps sustain a church planter as they engage the heart while helping the body.
- $500 provides 100 Bibles for church planters to distribute along with practical aid.
No matter what you’re able to give, your support will offer real-time help and long-term hope — and by God’s grace, launch more Disciple Making Movements like we’ve seen so often happen in the past.
This is what happened in a small village in Northern Kenya during the recent drought.
This village had been known as a spiritually dark place where few outsiders were ever allowed. But that changed when one of our DMM leaders named Gufu brought the village food.
Gufu was able to serve a few of the villagers, and a week later they all believed in Jesus and countless demons were cast out of the villagers. Where that happened now stands a church! Gufu also started a Discovery Bible Study in a neighboring village.
This is the power of Good News that you feel, not just hear — and it’s the same power you’ll help unleash when you give today.
Thank you for helping launch more movements for God’s glory!
