Raised in the US by Christian parents, as a child Louise was frequently exposed to the world of missions when her father would return from 6-week medical mission trips and share photos and stories with his children of impoverished and spiritually needy people from other parts of the world. She experienced poverty and spiritual need firsthand when she helped her father and mother on a medical mission trip to Haiti while she was still in college. While completing a master’s degree in clinical psychology, she married and began a family.
Drawn to African refugees resettling in the US, she and her husband began to help them acclimate to life in America. Then in 2009 she joined what was Cityteam, as assistant to the Director of International Ministries, Jerry Trousdale. Later she began to manage the global church planting data submitted by New Generations’ teams and partners, a role which she continues to this day. Each quarter she is amazed at God’s faithfulness as He ushers thousands into his Kingdom from around the world through Disciple Making Movements.
Louise and her husband have 4 adult children, two sons-in-law and 2 grandchildren. In their spare time they dig in the dirt growing organic fruits and vegetables.
