After New Generations trained her through Discovery Bible Studies (DBS), Eliza started praying and looking for a “Person of Peace” — someone who is open spiritually and influential in the community. She saw a small schoolboy walking home who had holes in his school uniform. Since she was a tailor, Eliza gave the boy another shirt and started repairing his school shirt. 

She shares, “As I did this, the boy looked at me and I felt a heaviness in my heart. I could not hold back the tears.”

When she was done, Eliza asked the boy to take her to his home, where she met his mother. When the boy told his mother what had happened, she ran to Eliza and gave her a hug as she cried.

“She became my Person of Peace and started a DBS in her home. She is now a Discovery Group leader, and out of this DBS she began another group. As for me, I am now coaching six DBS groups.”
