While an expense accomplishes a specific purpose for today, an investment holds the promise of impact for tomorrow. Disciple Making Movements are an investment that compounds overtime as disciples make disciples, leaders train leaders, and churches plant churches. The process is catalytic, and the results are explosive! The resources needed to get movements started go a long way. The amount required diminishes over time, while the benefits keep compounding!
New Generations by the Numbers
The story of God’s glory is that since March 2005, the Lord has used the Disciple Making Movement (DMM) process to catalyze 147,626 new churches with 2,855,483 new disciples—many from places where the Gospel had not sprouted let alone spread for over a century. However, “movements” of churches planting churches are our main measure of success. We define a “movement” as at least 100 new churches that have multiplied to the fourth generation or beyond. Currently, we are tracking 254 of these movements that range between 4 and 35 generations of new churches.

In 2023 alone, God used the DMM process to plant 21,076 new churches, with 327,112 new women and men becoming Christ followers. This is a staggering average of over 57 churches and 896 disciples per day!
