Beginning in 1996, Dave and Lynn hosted short-term teams to Africa. Dave also founded a mission in the Horn of Africa. Next, they relocated to East Africa for five years. Dave trained/coached a network of 100+ partner organizations that planted 10,000+ churches. Lynn conducted a ministry of rescuing high-risk babies.

Returning to the US in 2009, Dave spent seven years training leaders to launch Disciple Making Movements (DMMs). In 2016, he started the GoNorth Initiative to mobilize DMM practitioners to North Africa.

Dave earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in Transformational Leadership and Church Multiplication from Bakke Graduate University. He currently serves as DMM Catalyst with New Generations. He and Lynn have seven grandchildren and five children. They live in Arizona with their two youngest – Tariku and Weyitu.
