Steven & Joy Steinhaus

Steven & Joy Steinhaus are passionate followers of Christ who have been in ministry to Muslims for about 30-years. They moved overseas in 1990 initially to serve two-years in a Muslim context with Frontiers then returned home and attended seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), going back to the mission field in 1995 with Pioneers. During the following 19-years, Steven & Joy lead teams among Muslim UPGs in SEAsia, but they saw little fruit until they began to implement a DMM strategy in 2009. This led to a broader ministry of DMM training and coaching around the Muslim world. Steven completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at TEDS in 2017 on the topic of developing Ephesus Teams in global cities for gospel movements and Joy holds Master’s degrees in both Theology and Marriage & Family Therapy. Steven & Joy joined New Generations in 2019 and serve out of Chicagoland as DMM Practitioner-Trainers with a special focus on catalyzing and cultivating Disciple Making Movements among Muslims glocally. They are blessed with four adult children.
