Jerry Trousdale has been a missionary among a Muslim people group in Africa and a long-term student of missions. He also has a background in Christian publishing and broadcasting. Jerry pastored mission-sending churches in California and Tennessee. In 2002, he co-founded Final Command Ministries to facilitate the launch of Disciple Making Movements among Muslim people groups in Africa.
In 2005, he and other members of that organization became part of New Generations (formerly CityTeam Ministries) which provides training in obedience-based discipleship models to hundreds of ministries globally. He now serves as Director of International Ministries at New Generations which has catalyzed the planting of thousands of Muslim background churches throughout dozens of different Muslim peoples since 2005.
He is the author of Miraculous Movements: How Hundreds of Thousands of Muslims Are Falling in Love with Jesus
The sequel The Kingdom Unleashed was published in the Spring of 2018.
He and his wife Gayle live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
