Tim Chesney serves as the Mission Advancement Lead for New Generations as of July 2025 and brings a unique blend of leadership, education, and entrepreneurial experience to the team. He has served in diverse roles—educator, small business owner, team leader and ministry volunteer—while growing in his passion for encouraging biblical growth and global awareness of the Good News.
Tim holds a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary, and a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in History from the University of Texas at Arlington. His professional journey spans photography, real estate sales, communications, and education, including his current role as a board member at Mercy Preparatory Academy.
In 2019, he launched Stem & Light Studio and Event Venue with his wife, where he manages all operations and client engagement. His creative vision and organizational skills are matched by a deep commitment to serving others—whether through mentoring youth, designing curriculum, or engaging in local and international missions.
Through every endeavor, Tim remains committed to making Christ known—locally and around the world—by equipping others, building meaningful relationships, and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel. He lives just outside of Dallas, TX with his wife, Rebecca and 13-year-old daughter, Natalie.
