Part 4: Paradigm Shift

Stories of Transformation

“It’s not how much they know. It’s how much they obey what they know.”

There must be a shift in the way traditionally-trained church leaders think if we are to understand the effectiveness of the DMM process. Rather than assume Spiritual maturity in terms of education, it’s crucial to reframe that thinking toward levels of obedience to Jesus. He uses ordinary people to do His work, and we must let go of preconceived notions that only the professionally-trained will get the Great Commission done.

To accept this is to accept that the church leadership and growth is out of your control and in God’s control. It’s to surrender our tightly-held beliefs of how to do church, and open our eyes to the Truth of Scripture. Check out this video for the unique ways our New Generations leaders are discovering this around the world.
