In a small village, Rinku* lived for years under constant tension. Peace felt out of reach in his home. His father followed traditional religious practices, and strict social expectations created ongoing conflict within the family.
Everything began to change when Rinku met Coach Kiran*, a Disciple Making Movement (DMM) trainer. During one of their conversations, Kiran visited Rinku’s home and gently asked a simple question: “Would you like to discover Bible stories and parables together?”
In September, Rinku joined a Discovery Bible Study (DBS). Week by week, he read Scripture in his own language and reflected on it through simple, thoughtful discussion. Slowly, his heart began to change. Eventually, Rinku and his family reached a turning point. They shared, “We believe that Jesus is real. He gives peace—and we want that peace.” That day, they surrendered their lives to Christ.
Today, Rinku leads a small Discovery Bible Study group alongside his wife and son. God’s Word has brought profound transformation to their family, replacing tension with peace, joy, and unity. They now host nine people in their home for the study and have also stepped into Disciple Making Movement training themselves.
Rinku’s story is a powerful reminder that when the Gospel takes root in one household, it has the potential to impact an entire village.
