Successful Disciple Making Movements begin not with a program or technique, but with a passion for seeing a city truly follow Jesus. The desire must be heartfelt and deep. In this video, we hear from our Southern Africa Regional Director, who as a former missionary shared the Gospel in the traditional model of preaching to a new people group. But he found that though the heart, passion, and resources were present, there were little to no results of Jesus followers.
Additionally, the plateau of Christianity floating around the 30% mark of the world’s population drives us to believe there is a better way to make disciples who make disciples. We’ve seen God show up and move in New Generations as we seek ordinary people to meet Jesus and make disciples who make disciples. We are not satisfied until we reach the world with this Great Commission.
