My name is Adam, and I was born into a devout Muslim family. My father was an Imam, and by the time I was 17, I was already teaching the Koran to new converts and the younger generation.
One day, I met a pastor named David, and we quickly formed a deep and sincere friendship. Every time we talked, David would start with a prayer. He always told me, “Before doing anything, you must put everything in God’s hands.” At times, this frustrated me, but our friendship was stronger than my discomfort.
Through Discovery Bible Studies (DBS), David began telling me about Jesus. Our discussions about Islam and Christianity were interesting, but there was one phrase that stuck with me—one that I couldn’t shake. Over and over, David would say, “Adam, Jesus loves you!”
At first, those words bothered me. They echoed in my mind when I was alone, stirring questions I wasn’t ready to answer. But as time passed, I began to understand the depth of God’s love for me. The more I learned through our Bible studies and conversations, the more my heart changed.
One day, I finally shared my thoughts with David. He prayed for me, and in that moment, I felt God’s presence in a way I never had before. I asked him, “What do I need to do to accept Jesus?” His answer was simple: “Believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.”
That day, I gave my life to Jesus, and later, I was baptized.
Since then, I’ve continued growing in my faith. One of the most impactful resources in my journey has been a teaching on “Obedience-Based Discipleship.” It has shaped me into a leader who plants churches and makes disciples, just as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19-20.
Now, my greatest passion is sharing the love of Christ with my Muslim brothers and sisters. I want them to know the same truth that changed my life—Jesus loves you!
I thank God for transforming me and calling me to be part of His mission.
