He approached J.B., a New Generations movement catalyst who had arrived quietly, carrying only an audio player with Scripture in the local language. J.B. didn’t hesitate. He and the father prayed under lantern light, crying out to Jesus. And by morning, the boy was healed.
Fear gave way to faith. The father, once silent, began telling everyone what Jesus had done! He started Discovery Bible Studies in his home. Neighbors who used to avoid any talk of Jesus began to come. And soon, courage began to spread faster than fear.
Not far away, a witchdoctor’s wife found a similar courage. She had been secretly listening to Scripture on an audio player. When her husband found it, she ran in fear. But he—curious—pressed play. Night after night, he listened. Eventually, he invited others. And then he made a decision that changed everything: he gave his life to Jesus. Now he leads his own gatherings. A man who once trafficked in darkness now helps others walk in truth. And in both places, the Gospel continues to spread—one conversation, one gathering, one act of courage at a time.
