Mama Sarah* came to know Jesus through the faithful witness of a disciple named Grace. She joined a Disciple Making Movement (DMM) training—and for the first time, she experienced the life-changing power of God’s Word. She began studying the Bible and growing in her faith.
As Mama Sarah followed Jesus more closely, her entire family came to believe as well. They were all baptized and began their new life in Christ together. But that decision didn’t come without consequences. Their community quickly turned against them, and the persecution began. Hoping to ease the tension, Mama Sarah went to the local leader to explain their faith in the one true God—but he refused to listen.
That’s when her brother Daniel encouraged her with these words: “Maybe God has another place for you.” After much prayer, Mama Sarah and her family made the heartbreaking decision to leave everything behind and start fresh in a new village.
By God’s grace, they were able to stay together and begin a new chapter. But they didn’t keep quiet. With boldness and love, they started sharing their story and inviting others to discover who Jesus is. One by one, neighbors began listening. People came to Mama Sarah with their questions, their struggles, and their curiosity about the hope she carried.
What began with rejection has now grown into something beautiful—a new community where Jesus is known and worshipped. The woman once cast out is now a spiritual leader in a place where people are hungry for truth.
Please pray for Mama Sarah, her family, and all those who are hearing about Jesus through their witness.
