Celebrating 2 Years of Global Impact

Stories of Transformation

President’s Comments
In the two years since New Generations moved from being a division of Cityteam Ministries to becoming an independent organization, God has done more than we could have ever imagined!

Anniversaries are a time to reflect on the good things of the past. Below, you will see just a few of the many testaments to the greatness of God we are celebrating.

But anniversaries are also about the promise of the future. We believe what God has done so far is just the “down payment” on what He plans in the days ahead. We are firmly convinced the best is yet to come!

As we celebrate the past and dream into the future, we are well aware that we stand on the shoulders of men and women who prayed, cried, bled, and died to make these things possible. To them we say, “thank you,” and to God be the glory!

Two Year Anniversary Accomplishments

New Generations was launched as a new organization focused on Disciple Making Movements in July 2018. Here’s a summary of what we have witnessed God do through the help of friends like you:

Prayer Mobilization
Jesus said, “Apart from Me, you can do nothing” (John 15:5).  In recognition of this reality, New Generations puts a lot of time and resources into mobilizing and training intercessors. By God’s grace, we now have a prayer base around the world that includes over 100,00 dedicated intercessors!

Scripture Distribution
Our teams have distributed 14,000 printed Bibles and 13,500 audio Bibles in 55 languages.

Leadership Training and Resources
While we are consistently doing leadership training and coaching around the world, during our largest event in the last two years, we filled a stadium in West Africa to train over 5,000 leaders involved in those movements. We have also released a book and written multiple articles on Disciple Making Movements.

Innovation
We’ve developed an initiative to equip indigenous leaders to create worship songs and record music in their local language.

Helping Hurting People
At New Generations, we believe in order for the Gospel to be “good news” to hurting people, it must be something they experience, not just hear. So, we have been working hard to minister to people suffering from:

  • Droughts
  • Floods
  • Hurricanes
  • Cyclones
  • Locust Infestations
  • Persecution
  • Famine
  • Covid-19

We do not provide clean water, start schools, or help people feed themselves just so they’ll come to Jesus. We do it because we have come to Jesus! We have found that the doors of communities swing open when love knocks. And because of this, the journey starts where we want it to finish – with seekers becoming followers who love their neighbor as a lifestyle, not a program.

Helping Neglected People
We’ve helped a wide range of people providing a future and hope through:

  • Schools and Education
  • Medical Camps and Clinics
  • Distributing Eye Glasses
  • Delivering Food and Water
  • Establishing a Seed Bank
  • Setting Up New Businesses
  • Providing Micro-loans

Movements, Churches, and Disciples
During just the last two years, we have engaged 229 new people groups and seen God raise up 345,102 new Christ-followers (90,188 from Muslim backgrounds) within 18,851 new churches and launch 17 new Disciple Making Movements.

In-Depth Evaluation
Evaluating Quantity: We are bringing in qualified, outside professionals to do an external audit to confirm the quantitative outcomes within our movements.

Evaluating Quality:
We have launched what we believe is the first-ever quality assessment with movements. The purpose of this assessment is to evaluate the spiritual DNA expressed in lifestyles of prayer, obedience, replication, service, etc., and see how well it is transferring from one generation to another.

Both of these will be multi-year initiatives that will provide us with the “actionable intelligence” necessary to sustain and improve movements well into the future.

Thank you for your part in two years of inspiring impact for the Kingdom of God!
