Philippians 1:6 says:
I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. (NASB 1995)
I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus. (NASB 2020)
The collective, ongoing refinement of the Body of Christ in Philippi is highlighted in the revision of the NASB between 1995 and 2020. God wants His image to be reflected both in us as individuals and in those gathered (ekklesia) as His Bride.
The Discovery process at the heart of DMM is beautifully suited to this because we get “better together” when as a group, we commit to reflect (obey) God’s will revealed in His Word in an atmosphere of collective insight and mutual interdependence.
