I am a Christian, but have been having problems listening to the Word of God in English. So most times, when Bible study sessions or church services are done in English, I hardly get the message.
The session will look so boring as with the lack of understanding, I hardly get what the whole process is actually about. Then the SD Scripture cards came. I was invited to a listening session one day by my neighbor. I love hearing the Word of God. Though not too literate, the opportunity to hear the Word of God in Creole, our most common and popular language is a God-sent opportunity that has greatly contributed to cementing my faith in Christianity.
For now, I am not only a Christian, but firmly understand that I am a Christian as I listen to the Bible on the SD card in Krio. In one of the sessions, I was clearly able to understand what it meant to be born again. It was at the end of that session that I truly gave my life to Jesus, for at first, I was only a church goer or attender. Now, I have the assurance that I can make it to Heaven after this earthly life.
I got baptized, and now I am a full and true member of the church. A full-fledged follower under the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Please keep praying for me so that Christ will overcome the other members of my family who are strongly opposed to my becoming a Christian.
