Evaluation and Maintenance

Stories of Transformation

Prov. 27:23-24

“Know well the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds. For riches are not forever, nor does a crown endure to all generations.”

To “know well” means you consistently take the time to investigate all aspects of “your flock.” This process tends to focus on the status of the sheep; “Today” – are they fed, healthy, safe, etc. But then the focus of the leadership lesson shifts to, “tomorrow” with the reality check that the royal line does not automatically, “endure to all generations.” In the context of DMM, this means the Kingship of Jesus must be re-rooted in every generation (think replication of the DNA not just multiplication of the numbers). The overall message is, pay attention, and take whatever pre-emptive or corrective action is necessary to maintain and transfer what should be.

Digression and drift happen naturally and continually, therefore everything good in life takes constant evaluation and maintenance. Movements are no different.
