In the Samburu people group, we met Pamela. Growing up among oral-speaking people, she wasn’t privileged to have a formal education. We introduced her to the Disciple Making Movement (DMM) principle. She was consistent and willing to learn more, as it was translated into her heart language. She began attending the Leadership Training and Equipping Class (L-TEC), and she ultimately graduated.
This quarter, during our visit to the Samburu people group, we saw Pamela who is now working among her own people, having started a few Discovery Bible Study groups (DBS). We were amazed to see the progress she had made. She is now able to understand Swahili and read the Samburu-translated Bible on her own. Thank you for always praying for the Samburu people group.
