Miraculous Healing
A little girl was miraculously healed by the Lord.
After a Discovery Bible Study (DBS) meeting in the village, we were informed that one of the members’ children was ill. This little girl had been sick for four months with typhoid fever and had a perforated bowel. She even had her stool on the left side of her stomach. After helping her family get her admitted to the hospital, she had an operation.
Prayer Provides the Power
We presented her case to the Lord, who healed her. Because of this strong witness, the village community began to massively participate in DBS sessions.
Some weeks later, the little girl had a sudden crisis and was declared dead. When the local leader of the DBS group was notified, he told us and we went to the village where they were about to bury her. We conducted a Bible reading followed by an exhortation. We then spent some time in prayer. Then, the little girl came back to life and asked for water to drink!
Discovery Bible Study Grows
The whole village was in total astonishment at the sight of what the Lord had just done. Because of that miracle from the Lord, many villagers are studying the Bible with us today.
